The Nourish Kitchen (known as ‘wearetnk’ on Instagram) is a small family run online cooking business by the mother daughter duo – Sandeep and Aman. The recipes and cooking classes are influenced by their Indian heritage so you can expect to be taught a range of delicious authentic Indian dishes.

The Nourish Kitchen reached out to do an Instagram live cooking class and teach me and anyone who joined how to make chilli tofu using their recipe. I can confirm that it was finger licking good, and I have in-fact made it three times since – it goes amazingly in pitta wraps and roti. I cannot recommend them enough, if you are looking for a work social or fancy a solo or even gifting a voucher to one of their cooking classes – you will not be disappointed.


3 tbsp cornflour

5 – 6 tbsp oil

1 tsp sesame seeds

1/2 tbsp vinegar

1/2 tsp maple syrup or sugar

1 large white onion

1 inch ginger

4 garlic cloves

200g plain firm tofu block

1 large bell pepper – green

2 spring onions

1 large green chilli

1/2 – 1tsp salt

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

1 tbsp ketchup
